On Tuesday night, the Milwaukee Brewers went on a 22-0 run in American Family Field in Milwaukee, WI (USA) to obliterate the Seattle Mariners. It was a tremendous showing of offense and pitching precision as the Mariners never scored a run and were leading 22-0 after three innings.
Five runs were scored in five innings when the game concluded, and Milwaukee had 22 hits to the 22 runs and scattered 22 at-bats, hitting .519 as a team. The Brewers' team OPS was a jaw dropping 1.919 on the night, scoring 19 RBI on six extra-base hits in 45 at-bats.

It was not a blow out. Both sides settled into the game and Milwaukee led with a single run in the first inning, leading 1-0 through four. Then the doors of the earth were opened. Joey Ortiz was 4-for-6 with two runs scored, followed by Garrett Mitchell, who was 4-for-6 with his two runs. A Shutout Effort Leads to Harrison Headlines.
The show was the bats but Milwaukee's pitching was right there. Lefty Kyle Harrison was the pitcher who got the win, limiting his opponents to two walks and two hitters per inning, while striking out eight. Shane Drohan, Grant Anderson and position player Gary Sánchez completed the task in the bullpen, pitching a complete game shutout over the last four innings of Saturday's game. Milwaukee's pitching staff posted a 10 K/9 rate and didn't commit a single error behind them, holding the Mariners to a .161 team batting average.There will be a Nightmare Night for Seattle.
The Mariners were a complete disaster all day long. The bullpen looked terrible, while Starter Bryce Miller took the defeat allowing six runs on seven hits in 4.2 innings. Reliever Leo Rivas was tagged on nine hits and drove in nine runs in one inning, while Josh Simpson allowed five runs in just an inning. Seattle's pitchers walked seven and allowed 22 hits with an overly inflated team ERA of 20.25. The Mariners' defensive woes were amplified by four errors that they made during the game. Randy Arozarena, Cole Young and Julio Rodríguez were 0-12 in the top of the order, while Seattle scoreless in the nine innings with only five hits.By the Numbers
