Playing in front of a rowdy Scotiabank Arena crowd for their first-ever visit to Toronto, the Fever (24-12) never trailed and pushed their record to 10 wins in their last 12 games.
Kelsey Mitchell was the story early, dropping 16 points in the first quarter alone and finishing with 29 before sitting out the fourth. Her big night also made history, she scored 20-plus points for the 20th straight game, tying A'ja Wilson's WNBA record for the longest such streak. She left the game after the third quarter due to overheating in the steamy arena, but coach Stephanie White said she should be fine.
Caitlin Clark added 24 points, and together she and Mitchell became the first duo in WNBA history to each score 20+ points in the same game 16 times in a single season. Aliyah Boston chipped in 16 points, while Sophie Cunningham went a perfect 3-for-3 from three-point range to finish with 13.
